Not disappointed in the least bit. Easy to install, 30 minutes or so, with two sizes of wrenches and one drill bit. Once installed this thing won't budge, with 9' ceilings I have to jump a little to the bar and it didn't flinch (1' stool is fine which many would need on any bar). Like others, company shipped extremely fast (one reviewer may have been a odd mishap?).

Bars are solid and seem to be built for punishment, not some weird cheap alloy, but USA made. I'll pay for that quality any day.

Some may miss the cushion grips but you can buy those or use a towel if you want. In my opinion they are disposable and are usually cheap and wear off quickly so it wasn't a big issue to me.

Will buy from this company again. If you are ok putting a couple holes in the ceiling or have a basement with exposed joists, go for it!
